LONGARM QUILTING

I offer a range of services to add a professional finish to your quilt. These include Edge to Edge quilting, Custom quilting, binding and basting.

I own a Bernina Q24 long arm quilting machine with a computerised Intelliquilter system. This enables you to choose from hundreds of inbuilt designs or choose from the thousands available online for a minimal cost. I can also freehand a design for you if you would prefer. I use high quality threads from a variety of sources with a huge range of colours to choose from and can provide wadding and a small range of widebacks.

ONLINE COURSES

I am excited to be introducing a range of online courses to help quilters gain the confidence and skills needed to quilt their own quilts.

Courses will be offered on both longarm and domestic sewing machines so there is something for all sewists wanting to learn a new skill.

I'm thrilled to be able to offer a limited number of spots for one on one workshops in my Northcote (Melbourne) studio. This is an all inclusive experience for anyone wishing to uplevel their free motion quilting skills, whether you're a complete beginner or a more advanced quilter.

MEMORY QUILTS AND BEARS

I am excited to collaborate with my sister Glenis to provide a service for t-shirt quilts, memory quilts and memory bear commissions.

What is a memory/t-shirt quilt?

A memory quilt is made from clothing or fabric that has special meaning and is designed to celebrate the life of a loved one or a special event.

Remember - each quilt is a bespoke piece of art that is made with many hours of love.

Memory quilts can -

Bring comfort to family when a loved one has passed away.
Be made to celebrate special milestone birthdays.
Be made to celebrate all those wonderful baby clothes that you don't want to give away.
Be a celebration of sporting achievements.
A reminder of music concerts you've attended and collected t-shirts from!
Be used instead of a guest book at a wedding. Have your guests sign fabric to be turned into a quilt!
What about a baby shower quilt? An amazing keepsake for the parents-to-be.
